Performance Media Buyer
About This Opportunity:
We are looking for a creative and ambitious Performance Media Buyer to join our fast-growing office in the heart of Amsterdam.
Responsible for campaign execution and reporting, we are seeking an extremely driven, quick-learning, and detail-oriented individual.
The Performance Media Buyer is in charge of scaling profits across client campaigns by driving lower cost per acquisition while increasing paid media spend. He or she will participate in all aspects of executing high profile and complex paid media campaigns on networks like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google, etc. This includes implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting of campaigns. Skills such as analytics, task management and strong verbal and written communication are necessary to excel in this position.
The chosen candidate will have the unique opportunity to be trained on all of performance marketing best practices, attend industry conferences around the world, and have access to all the resources and tools needed to become a media buying legend.
Ideate, create and test paid media campaigns to acquire new leads and customers.
Continuously A/B test campaigns, ad groups, creatives and landing pages to improve conversion rates & lower CPAs.
Monitor spend and performance on a daily basis to reach or exceed monthly acquisition goals.
Thoroughly understand client’s business, goals, and KPIs
Communicate with team lead on all elements of the campaign, including performance, project status, and client goals.
Submit weekly client reports and agendas on time, every week.
Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in social media and paid social media (betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)
Seek automation opportunities to scale impact and reach of paid media efforts.
Develop, document, and implement best practices to drive efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
1+ years direct experience executing and managing performance-based paid media campaigns.
Understanding of fundamental media metrics and calculations (CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA).
Experience in using advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Power Editor, Pinterest Ads. (Google Adwords and Native networks are a plus)
Strong knowledge of Excel/spreadsheet management, and a knack for analyzing large amounts of data.
Basic copywriting skills
Background and/or experience with design a plus (i.e Photoshop)
Ability to contribute to an entrepreneurial, innovative and collaborative team-based environment.
Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities and pay strong attention to details.
Desire and drive to always be learning.
Excellent communications skills.
